TELEMEDICINE VIA VIDEO CALL
Welcome to our Telemedicine page. Our board certified providers can now offer you medical services in the comfort and safety of your own home during this challenging time. Our HIPPA compliant Telemedicine program, Securevideo, has the capability to work with any of your devices - cell phone, laptops, desktop, tablets. Allow us to help you maintain isolation and get treated without risk of waiting room exposure.
STEP 1 - Making an Appointment
To make an appointment call our office. If you are an existing patient, you can call the office where you usually go. Our staff will ask you for your:
Cell Phone Number
Option to choose Preferred Appointment Time OR First Available Appointment
STEP 2 - Look for Text Message on Your Phone
After you make the appointment you will receive a text message from your doctor with an invite to join. The message will have your doctor’s name, appointment date and time, and the ability to RSVP. Please RSVP to confirm your appointment.
Note: If you are planning to conduct your appointment from a device other than your cell phone, you can enter the 9 digit code as your “Meeting Code”
STEP 3 - Download App Prior to Appointment
Prior to your visit please make sure you have downloaded ZOOM on the device you plan to use - your computer or phone. It is a very quick and safe download. Without the App or program you will not be able to join the call. At this point you DO NOT need a log in for your appointment, it just needs to be downloaded on your device so you can join the meeting with one click using the link your doctor texted.
Note: If you are not able to download the app ahead of time, you will be given the opportunity to do so at the time of your appointment. Please join your appointment 15 minutes early to download the App. When you join, follow the directions on your screen to complete the download.
STEP 4 - Join Meeting; Make Payment
Be available 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment, click on the link to join the meeting. At this time you will be asked to pay for your appointment. Make payment and wait in the “Virtual Waiting Room” for the doctor to arrive.
Sometimes the Audio or Video may not start automatically and you may have to click on those icons.
If you are planning on a video chat and for some reason there is a technical difficulty please wait up to 15 minutes for a doctor to contact you via telephone. The doctor call will be directed from a central number so you may not see their name or Urgent Care on caller ID. Your caller ID may say “No Caller ID” or “Restricted” or something similar.
PAYMENT & BILLING
Even though we have not yet received clear indication from insurance companies if they will cover Telemedicine costs, we will still submit your claim and wait for their
response. For a list of accepted insurances click here.
No insurance coverage? don’t worry. You can pay out of pocket at the time of your virtual or phone visit. Self pay rate for Telemedicine consult is $100. We accept all major credit cards.
